Missions help us grow
Dear mom,
Its great to hear from you, I'm glad things are finally kicking up to speed with the whole school with the kids. I miss them and the little crawlers.
Well I'm glad the ward is doing great, and I am doing well, I am loving it all. It is hard and stressful, but missions weren't meant to be easy, or else everyone would go. But I have seen the Lords hands in my mission every day. He has blessed me in many ways, and I have seen many reason why I am here. I connect with the members and investigators and my companion as well. We both are doing well. We ran into a problem this last week, we were playing basketball late at night and we got permission to do so, and a member doesn't confront us he goes and tells the bishop and the bishop knows that we have permission to play late night basketball, that's actually where we met two of our investigators. But it just bugs me that people don't respect us as missionaries. They see us as just kids. It just sucks. But I am still working on my patience. It didn't bug me that we cant play ball at night, just the fact that people go behind our back and don't respect us is all. But its whatever. I still love the member who did. I have learned to love the people around me lately actually. And its easy to talk to them now, which is really great.
Thanks again for all you do from sending me supplies I need and money, to just loving me. Thank you mom. Tell the family I love them all, even the older siblings. I miss them as well and the in laws as well. I miss Will and how it is fun to joke around with him, Blake to playing madden with him, and to Travis to how immature his jokes are and funny and fun he can be. Thanks again and I love you mom.
Love,
Elder Green (The Younger)
